Enfield Peanut Festival
The 2014 Enfield Peanut Festival will be held on Friday, October 3rd from 6 pm until 9 pm with a block party. Vendors and entertainment will be held on Saturday, October 4th beginning at 12 noon till 8 pm..

For more information regarding vendors, entertainment, etc. at the Peanut Festival, please contact Jerry Powell at jpowell@enfieldnc.org or call 252.445.5122.

You may also read the Peanut Festival Vendor Letter for more information and complete the Peanut Festival Vendor application. The complete application, along with a $25.00 vendor fee, should be submitted to:

If you are interested in becoming part of the entertainment line up or for more information about the Peanut Festival or to offer your volunteer services for the Festival, also contact the Jerry above.

NOTE to Food Vendors Only / Deadline is Sept. 19
All Food Vendors must submit an Application for a T.F.E. to the Health Department at least 14 days prior to the Peanut Festival, and changes to the menu must be approved within 3 days of the Peanut Festival.

Volunteers Needed for Against Crime/Community Cook-Out/Halloween
The Enfield Police Department is seeking volunteers from area churches, store vendors, citizens, teachers, parents and students to help assist with the following upcoming events. For all other events contact the Enfield Police Department for more info: 252.445.5122 or epd@enfieldnc.org.

  • National Night Out Against Crime (August 5th. Beginning at 7 pm.)
  • Community Cook-Out (August 22nd from 4 pm to 8 pm)
  • Halloween Trunk of Treats Extravaganza (October 31st)

Town of Enfield Board Meetings
Public Meetings are held every third Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m.. Meetings will be held at the Municipal Building, located at 200 Whitfield Street. For more information contact the Town Clerk at (252) 445-3146 ext. 25.




Enfield Planning & Zoning Board
Regular meetings will be held the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Municipal building. The board of Adjustments will meet the same night at 8:00 pm or as soon as the planning/zoning board meeting adjourns.

The Town of Enfield Supports Fair Housing. The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status and disability.
