Born 1949 on a Tobacco Farm at Dawson Cross Road, Enfield. Graduated HS 1967, went to Catawba College, Salisbury NC, then on to Phoenix, working for Greyhound's meat company Armour. Then in 1981 went to NYC as Purchasing Director of an old school needle craft yarn company Bucilla. My friend became Mayor of Jersey City and for 17 years in a city of 330,000 people ran multiple departments dealing with quality of life issues, such a safe and clean streets, Entertainment and Business Districts. Returned to Enfield in 2013. Thank you for the Honor of Serving. Looking up and out for Enfield the 5th oldest town in North Carolina, chartered 1740.
